Majority Jamaicans know the drill….first you have to buy the jumbo barrel (s). The start hit every striking store close to home, then venture out further base on sales and recommendations…then you start to not go into the stores and stay in the car, then the garage full a bags, boxes ..you name it. I had 3 dreams recently when i wake im looking at myself in the dream. I dont really know if im wake or what. I just know its like watching a movie with me as the star. I feed them daily, thank them n let them know i remember them. Some ive never meet but their name call sed whey. Some i didnt like when they were here n dem never like me but mi nah leff dem out. It was Obara’s post on altars that got me to set up mine…I love mine…I am officially an altar junkie…I have crystals, a bell, and all kind a fandangles…for Thanksgiving dinner we fed our ancestors first…it was a wonderful new thing to add to our family tradition..everywhere i go i look for things to put on mine…it is my place of solitude…my husband now have his own altar because of how he sees me with mine…he absolutely loves his too…
